Fascinating to see the different perceptions of the word "boob" 
.....  Certainly the English, both here and overseas, seem to call 
breasts boobs much more often than they call them breasts.  The word 
Breast" is kinda anatomical, much more formal - I myself use it a 
lot, and almost never use Boob, because I'm usually not joking about 
breastfeeding!   But 9 times out of 10 my clients talk about their 
_own_ breasts as Boobs.  The word Boob is almost an affectionate 
term, like a little pet-name, nearly always said with a little smile 
in the voice.  Like our Australian friends have described, it's not 
really a derogatory term for us at all.  I think it's rather sweet, actually!
