Having dealt with this personally some things that worked sometimes
1. Lift the baby a bit higher at the breast
2. Lots of teething things before nursing session
3. Hyland teething tablets
4. Practice sucking sessions on mom's finger with gentle reminders when
biting occurs. ( This one I used often with my older nurslings and toddlers)
5. Lansinoh for moms nipples helped with healing and biting for some odd
reason.
