Dear Lactnetters,
OOOPS!  Contrary to what I just sent, coumarin is not noted for it's
estrogenic effects - the chemical I was thinking of is coumestrol - probably
the strongest phytoestrogen but not, apparently, in fenugreek!

Coumarin is in fenugreek, has noted hypoglycemic effects and would still
consider it in possibly having a hand with lactation somehow but other than
antiandrogenic and anti-inflammatory effects listed in Duke's lists of
pharmacological effects of plant constituents, does not list estrogenic.
