Azmacort is an inhaled steroid. The oral steroids include prednisone and
prednisolone, which are compatible with breastfeeding. The reason for
the inhaled form is that it has good local action with virtually no
absorption into the body. If oral steroids are compatible with
breastfeeding, then an inhaled form with negligible absorption into
mother's bloodstream must be even safer. Hope this helps. Alicia.
