I'm now hesitant to post, as this is NOT research based - but having just
dealt with this, I thought I'd bring it up.

Visiting a mom of twins, one with thrush, the other not, one nipple with
symptoms of thrush, the other without, we were discussing with Grandma and
Mom how all need to be treated, etc., when Grandma asked if she needed
treatment also.  Well, I explained that first we would treat mom's nipples
and both babies mouths, but yes, sometimes the whole family needs to be
treated.  She explained that when the pacifier (don't go there, I'd already
dealt with it earlier in the visit) fell on the floor, she always put it in
her mouth to "clean" it before putting it in the baby's mouth...  Mom then
said she does, too.

(Yes, I provided education on sharing dental caries bacteria, etc...)
