Hi all,
An observation about this study.

They do say that the pacifier group did wean earlier, (nearly twice as often
by three months!)...just that it wasn't statistically significant in the way
they analyzed it by "randomized allocation" and that pacifier use might be a
marker for early bfing problems.

So they go on to *ok* pacifer use despite not really showing that this i
ntervention doesn't affect breastfeeding? And how do they know that the
pacifier *marking* early breastfeeding problems isn't the cause of it?

Either way, certainly pacifier use is a red flag one way or another.

Obviously, I'm not convinced.
