Diane, I would do nothing better then be a regular ongoing member of ILCA.
But untill I earn a more then under minimal living with being a LC I cannot
afford to pay the quite high fees on top of the fee for my local LC
association. It simply is too much to pay for many people. I really hate the
gaps in the volumes of JHL I have, I'd really rather have them all without
missing years.
We have discussed this before.
On top of the financial aspect, ILCA does not really offer very much for
nonUSA LC's, anyway not enough to cover for the high fee. Even the
international representatives in the board are about to vanish..
