Hello Friends,
What could cause a baby's tongue to blanch at the tip? I did not see it myself but the mother claims that sometimes after feeding, her baby's tongue tip is blanched. I have seen the baby several times. He was treated with cst for facial asymmetry. I have checked him for tongue tie and do not feel that his tongue is tied. He can latch on well but more often than not he closes up on the nipple and causes his mother great pain.
Could this tongue blanching be a clue to something?
Thanks so much,
Chayn in chilly Israel
