Sounds like typical medical dis-information :-)  Mostly misinformation or
lack of information.
Interesting that everyone - around the world - focuses on color of infant
stools.

Green watery stools means foremilk-hindmilk imbalance to me, especially if
they are explosive type movements. Maybe baby needs to stay longer on 1st
breast.  Somebody says " Finish the first breast first."  Meaning let baby
nurse until baby decides he's done on first side, then  switch to other
side if baby indicates he's ready for more.

There is Group A strep  and Staph aureus.  Group A strep can be passed from
mother to  baby by kissing, other ways too.   Staph aureus is common source
of breast infections/mastitis.  Staph A tends to  be present on 50 % of
people's skin .  Most commonly it gets into breast via a lesion on the
nipple.  It is safe to nurse with a breast infection/mastitis or abcess.
