So true.

Our local breastfeeding coalition is going to discuss this issue at our
upcoming meeting next week.  We are in a hurricane-prone area (north
Florida), and I think we need to get some media attention NOW about this
issue.  We need to reach pregnant women and even those who are already
breastfeeding so they won't wean too early.  I hope I don't come off as
too rabid on this topic when I discuss it with my students and clients.
;-)  I just can't understand how anyone can see those pictures of hungry
babies and distraught parents and not realize THAT WAS TOTALLY
PREVENTABLE!
