**Hello Linda and Naomi,

I saw the Sesame Street-clip yesterday and it was lovely, indeed.
What I noticed, however, was that the mother says: "Not all babies are fed
this way, but many are." I thought it would have been a nice opportunity to
explain to a bird how mammals are fed... ;-)

By the way: I joined this list yesterday evening.
My name is Marianne Vanderveen-Kolkena; I'm a breastfeeding volunteer for
the Dutch association VBN (Vereniging Borstvoeding Natuurlijk) and hope to
pass my IBCLC-exam next year July.
Lactnet was highly spoken of by a collegue of mine as a way to substantially
increasing your knowledge, so I decided to join. Hope to learn a lot here
and 'meet' interesting people!

Regards,

Marianne
