I have a question about this. If mom never had this virus then does her milk
really have antibodies to protect against this virus? I guess I am asking
because my 2 year old did get this despite being exclusively breastfed at the
time (she was 6 months old). She never got RSV...mom has had it, got it my
first year in PICU. She did not get that nasty flu this past year despite the
fact I had it bad and continued to nurse her. My mom does not recall me ever
having the rotavirus, nor do I so I am wondering.....
Any thoughts on this?
