Julie, what/how has baby been being fed in the past week? If the baby has
developed a preference for an artificial nipple, temporary use of a nipple
shield might help get a latch going after edge is off baby's hunger via
whatever other feeding method has been being used....

Best wishes with it and to all,

Marge in CA, LLLL, CLEC
