I was just at the IBLCE web site and found the Code of Ethics listing two
points particually pertinent to your dilemma and are written as follows ...

" 5.) Remain free of conflict of interest while fulfilling the objectives
and maintaining the integrity of the lactation consultant profession."

and

" 17.) Disclose any financial or other conflicts of interest in relevant
organizations providing goods or services.  Ensure that professional
judgement is not influenced by any commercial considerations."
