Someone asked a few days ago about herbal remedies for coughs in bronchitis
and pertussis. And someone else answered that mint teas are good. From my
knowledge, mint teas should not be given to the youngest of children, say,
under 3. But thyme and fenchel are also good against coughs. Cough syrups
are made from them too. My son was prescribed a pleasant tasting thyme
cough syrup for his pertussis. By the time he was whooping, it was too
late for antibiotics.
