The only way vaccines could help is if mom hasn't ever had the vaccine or 
disease.  When the ones around a baby like this are protected, it protects 
the baby - herd immunity.  Of course being breastfed :-) - had to get that 
in :-) raises his immunity against actual general germs  and viruses that 
the family comes in contact with.  Pat in SNJ
