They're saying this as if it is a bad thing?  Shame on them!  Although I've
never had the pleasure of hearing you speak, I always pay close attention to
your posts on the various lists we have in common.  I like that
"opinionated" edge to the information you provide.  When someone has been
working in their field for a number of years and has achieved the level of
respect and success that you have (and others who have responded on this
topic), then that individual's "opinion" is quite valuable indeed!
of course this is just my "opinion",
