   I am working iwth a mother who is getting pumped milk from a friend and I
know that the friend has also nursed/breastfed her baby...
While understanding the horror that this would create for a hospital or
hospital personal... I, being in private practice,  feel honored that the
mother shares this with me. I know the mother is greaty touched by her
friends gift of milk

  And before I get "flamed off this list" It is our 'job" to provide current
information to parents, let them make the decision that works for them and
support them in that decision.

 ... as I write this I think... if this were an older child, sleeping at your
home, lonely scared would you take her into your bed?
