Not headaches, specifically, but how about "sensory overload"? This
could cause headaches, I would think.
I breastfed one pair mostly simultaneously and one pair mostly
separately, and when I did nurse the latter two together had the same
kind of feeling as many mothers have noted when breastfeeding through
pregnancy or tandem, a restless, "yucky" feeling. I am sure it had
something to do with my hormones being off-balance in that case, but not
with the other two.
Boy, this doesn't sound anywhere near scientific... Hopes the BTDT is
helpful, though, and you can e-mail me privately if you want to chat
more about it.
