my babies ever nursed any more than 5 times a day. And they gain weight
just fine."

I had a mum who said she goes 6 hours between feeds - 4 feeds per day -
with each baby. I was doubtful but watched her very large infant nurse at
her very large breasts and fall asleep. Diapers and wet gain were
wonderful. Super storage capacity and large tummy on baby made this
possible. The only kicker for this mum is she had a nasty incisional
infection and rash from the antibiotics. Once all that was cleared up she
did great.

Always interesting to see how far from average normal can be.
