I saw a mom today who has an 11-day-old baby. She has been pumping and
bottle feeding for 4 days, because when her milk lets down her breasts itch
deep down inside, and nothing relieves it. SHe found that pumping causes a
less intense itch. The itching generally lasts about 15 minutes.
Occassionally she experiences some pelvic pain that shoots down her legs
briefly as well. (Uterine contractions??)

So...has anyone ever heard of this phenomenon accuring with oxytocin
release???

thanks-
