I had a baby that presented this way not too long ago. I advised her to use
as much KMC (kangaroo mother car; skin on skin) as possible. He was alert
and happy, His weight gain (slow) and breast refusal really bothered mom. I
asked her to investigate a cranio sacral therapy, just to see if anything
was "off". Sometimes there is very minor adjustments that can be made that
makes all the difference in the world. But what really made her life so much
easier instantly...Domperidone. It took about 4 days of 20 mg three times a
day and her milk supply went up dramatically; she's still on it. He still
had the same personality but we was happy at the breast, and satisfied and
gained much quicker after mom took the Domperidone. Mom was happy because
she was satisfying his hunger...she didn't care what kind of personality he
had, she could handle it, because she knew he was getting fed.

I hope this helps..
