Dear Lactnet Friends:

I always thought that the WHO recommended children be breastfed for 2
years.

I found this 2010 draft document from them  <
http://www.who.int/nutrition/EB128_18_Backgroundpaper1_A_review_of_nutritionpolicies.pdf>
 that speaks (on pages 31-34) about breastfeeding for one year as the goal.

When did this change? Does anyone know why?
