I saw an 18 month old for a well visit. She and her family are
from Inda and moved to the US about 4-5 months ago.
The parents had a copy of her immunization records and on
the outside cover of the booklet was a drawing of a mom and
baby breastfeeding. I was in her previus history that she was breastfed.
I didnt think to ask she still does as there was no mention of it in
her prior clinic note. Narrow minded American physician that I
am. I wonder if these people know what a backwards
country they've moved to in terms of breastfeeding.
