I think the Atkins diet brings about a process of a  low level of ketosis
the by-product of which is in the milk.  I am not a nutritionist so I can't
explain it, but I think that is a reason why any diet which breaks down the
body's fat quickly is not recommended while bf.  The breakdown of the body's
fat also release more of the body's stored toxins which then are also found
in the the milk.
