Hi I am a LLL Leader first time lactnet user in Idaho .
   Our community has a breastfeeding council composed of LC , WIC staff,
hospital and clinic staff, LLL leaders and  others. At a meeting,someone
mentioned a mom, six months into her first pregnancy  who had developed
mastitis. Has anyone heard of this before?  She was treated with
antibiotics . We discussed whether pumping would be appropriate but also
wondered about nipple stimulation and the possibility of inducing
premature labor. Any comments or suggestions?
