Since frena/frenula are found in various interesting parts of the body :-)
we do need to be correct and specify which frenum/frenulum we are talking
about :-)  (ie: fenulum linguae).  I think the distinction may come from
what the frenum/frenulum made of.  Frenulum is a small fold of white matter
and frenula is a fold of mucus membrane which conects 2 parts, one more or
less moveable and serves to check movement.  Also size may be a factor in
use, fenulum-small bridle and fenum-bridle)  SYN. is vinculum - a dividing
band or bundle.  And why are we discussing this??? :-)  Because we want
