Hi everyone,
I need some expert guidance here.. A mom called this am wanting help to
induce lactation for her 10 day old adopted baby. She has had no time to
prepare. I don't have a lot of history except that mom has had years of
what she called undiagnosed fertility problems. Baby was term but tiny at 5
lbs 14 ounces. Has had no problems feeding formula by bottle. I have
printed Lenore Goldfarb's / Dr Jack Newman's protocols for her and , plan
to visit tomorrow to bring electric breast pump and lactation aid but would
appreciate some guidance as to where to start with getting her doctor on
board with medications ect. Also any other web resources or sites you could
point me to would be most appreciated.
I would also like to give her some idea as to what she can expect for her
particular situation but have no clue..
Thanks in advance. Please send responses privately as I am having a hard
time to keep up with my lactnet reading.
