Dear Brenda,

Although this may be as simple as adding a little Vit. C or bioflavinoids to the diet, it could also be a red flag for other conditions which could be quite ominous.  For example, a drop in platelets can cause this type of bruising and can be a marker for certain conditions.  I would suggest that she see her doctor/midwife who might then do a thorough check up and maybe order some blood tests.
