This is my first time sending a message.  I live in Prince George, British
Columbia, Canada, am married and have two adult sons who were breastfed.  I
wrote & passed the IBCLCE exam in 1993.  I live 400 miles from the nearest
certified lactation consultants and have been reading with interest about
the LACTNET in JHL & ILCA GLOBE.  Two years ago I attended the ILCA
conference in Atlanta.  It took me weeks to come down from that experience
(if indeed I ever did!)  After that conference, I co-wrote a proposal for an
in-house lactation consultant program and one year ago became a full-time
lactation consultant in our local hospital.  From September to April I
attend our local university UNBC as a part-time student working toward my
BSN degree.
