Has anyone dealt with a mom breastfeeding and taking Antabuse? I came
up empty searching the Archives and it's not in Tom Hale's book.

I talked to a mom today who did a major alcohol binge during pregnancy.
She's had partial custody of the baby and has been pumping a lot and now
is hopeful for full custody. Baby is now breastfeeding well. The
court's condition is that she take Antabuse for the next three months.
Briggs says no info available, USPDI says "Problems in humans have not
been documented." Molecular weight is 296.
It sounds like her doctor is hesitant to prescribe this while she's
breastfeeding and is asking for information.

Help!!
