Another possibility is mastitis... but you wouldn't have said "very
healthy mum. No probs..." right?
Also, I agree that it might be developmental. Words are such marvellous,
powerful things... It can be a word to use in different situations, in
order to experiment with reactions... mine usually get a reaction from
calling my milk yucky. It can be a game, like this one: mother: "Where's
your hand?" baby: "Gone" giggle... "Hand". It is fun to ask them how the
milk tastes, or what it tastes like. Or it may reflect a more
sophisticated ability to perceive and articulate changes in taste. Or a
mood: it is a sad day, but it happens that a child might want apple
sauce or bananas instead of "yucky" milk. At least until he changes his
mind five minutes later.
