Michelle,
That is a wonderful project. Probably something that all organizations
supporting bfg could or should do.
If funds are a problem, which they probably always are.........then why not
ask those bf friendly companies to pay for the advertising? Whatever they
would pay would certainly be less costly than doing it through the usual
promotional wheels. No one would do it for them for free. So you could cash
in and use the money towards either enhancing the give-aways or printing
bags with LLL information or whatever.
You are doing all the work and even distributing. Ask them to either make a
contribution (sometimes even letting them determine the amount will
surprisingly bring in more than you may have dared to ask for.)
I have had much success in obtaining funds from small companies who are only
too happy to let us do the work. I do this for participation fees in baby
fairs where we make up hand-out bags with various pamphlets in them. The
companies don't even have to be there. Which means they are also saving on
(wo)manpower manning stalls or treading the boards.

Well done. I enjoyed reading about this. Thanks
