I am in need of some information on the bench mark for hospital based
lactation services and patient to LC ratio. I would like to know what other
hospitals are doing, and if anyone has any research patient to LC ratio. If
you have outcomes to include, that would be great. I searched the archives
and found several postings on this subject, but most were inquiries but no
response. We are trying to justify (to management) the need for increased
LC numbers. If possible, could you also specify what your job entails? Do
you see all lactating moms or just those with problems? Do you do follow up
phone call? Oupt visits? Flex to staff if needed? You can either post to
the list or email me privately. My email is [log in to unmask]
Thanks for any info you can give me.
