I read this book after giving birth to my fourth son ( the women in this
book has 4 boys also). This is not a breastfeeding book and this woman is a
professional journalist telling her story about her struggle between being a
professional and deciding to be a stay at home mum. I enjoyed reading this
book because I related to some issues and laughed and cried. Mothers don't
need to "Surrender" as such. Schedules have been around for a long time and
always will be because of insecurities felt by mothers and what if's, but if
we can encourage and pass on positive feelings about motherhood and
breastfeeding, we can laugh and cry with mums, tell funny stories, wonderful
stories about mothers, mums will learn to trust themselves and there babies
and believe that what is in there hearts is what is right not what is
written in a book. This "ezzo" stuff is like a cult to me, and schedules
are for trains and buses not for babies.
