Selecting only one item from that latest patent:

"In underdeveloped countries, a few goats, cows, or sheep carrying
functional human mammary cells could supply all the human milk necessary in
a village, in situations where mothers could not breast feed."

I am trying to figure out under what conditions a mother could not make
human milk while a goat from her own herd can make human milk?

Famine, pestilence, war, drought, all the terrible things that happen to
poor villagers in underdeveloped countries, can affect a woman (and her
sisters & cousins & neighbors) but not affect her goat?

And how is this village going to obtain one of these marvelous genetically
engineered goats? Won't they need several? Is the company that implanted
the goats going to donate goats out of the goodness of their collective
hearts?

The rest of it leads to international politics and I won't go there on this
list.

Phyllis
