Dear Catherine, thanks for your reply, sort of thinking along the same
lines and am trying to line up an OT. Same ins co as kid below so I don't
have great hopes! It isn't just temporary. He's never eaten food, just
BF. Have a little 5 yo bottle kid with same problem. They both fall into
the FTT range as they get older. But both have slight parents (go figure).

The 5 yo is very slowly adding foods to his repetoire and has gained a
little lately. I've gone the no pressure route with him. It is so
frustrating! HMO will pay for the pedisure, but not for OT!!! He also had
severe reflux as infant so I think is aversive to swallowing.

Another problem has been in his whole five years the insurance has been off
& on, very irregular. So by the time we'd get an appt. she'd be off that
plan or off ins. entirely. I think all kids in US should just be covered
period. No recertification, no waiting, just covered, birth to 18.

Sincerely, Pat in SNJ
