Yes, children respond naturally to stress or as Dr. Phil said "regeress" in
the presence of parents.  I'd like to quote James Helms "The Child under
six".  "Tears -- no fears".  What looks like regression is in fact may be
childs real feelings coming out as opposed to fear masking stress in a
child.  It is better to "regress" with a parent, than to hide all your
fears and later need extensive therapy.
