Geez Anna we must run into the same women. Even before I *had* a nursling,
it was like I attracted these women who well... for lack of a better term
needed a good kick in the pants. I received at least 3-4 emails or phone
calls a month before my nursling was born from women saying "talk me out of
____" or "tell me again how much bottlefeeding sucks" (my specialty, after
all, a woman who has only breastfed has NO IDEA how much bottlefeeding
REALLY sucks. Ask me, I'll tell you ALL about it!).

Somehow, word spread around our local birthing centre, and then through
some nursing groups, that I was just *the* one to call when no one else
could help you because I could find a new idea or send you to another
person who would have an idea and know how to help. Or as Kathy D once
quipped, to "Quitchyerbeefin'" because it could be a lot worse and really
wasn't THAT bad.

When word spread around my second baby was a nurser a few of them who I
helped came over to congratulate me. It was very emotional for me.
