Since it was my post that you are referring to, I feel the need to clarify
that I didn't lump it together with secondary or temporary lactose
intolerance, I specifically stated PRIMARY lactose intolerance. My
understanding is that PRIMARY lactose intolerance can take two forms -
galactosemia or primary lactase deficiency. Both are EXTREMELY rare in
infants, although primary lactase deficiency is relatively common in adults.

I am awaiting others' thoughts on the matter.
