I'm working with a mom who has had problems with her baby for quite
some time. Baby is 19 months old and has been a very low weight
gainer. Lots of episodes of diarrhea. Recently, the doctors have
said the believe the baby has Celiac's syndrom. The baby has yet to
be tested and the mother is trying to do some research. Her biggest
question is whether gliadin, the protein in gluten, is passed through
breastmilk. I'm having trouble finding information for her.

Has anyone had any dealings with Celiac's or gluten related problems?
Or even know if gliadin is passed through?

TIA
