This sounds a lot like my first daughter's weight tendancy. She too
was 6-8 at birth (which was around about 25%tile). She went up to 13
lbs (doubled) at 3 mos and 19.5 lbs (tripled) by 7 mos. At 10 mos she
was only 20 lbs (0.5 lb up from 7.5 mos) and then she stayed stagnant
at 20 lbs until she was *27* mos old. She also started solids
relatively late, at 8.5 mos, and started crawling around 9.5 mos. She
was eating tiny amounts at 8.5 mos, but slightly more "regular"
amounts by 10 mos. So her rapid weight gain dropped off around about
when she started eating regular amounts of solids and when she started
being much more mobile.

I have no doubt that many a HCP would have looked at her and said to
wean, told me she was FTT, or something, but she was meeting
milestones, is a very bright little girl, but is UNDER the charts in
weight despite having been at the 75%tile at 7.5 mos. She is not even
at 1%tile, she is fairly far under the lowest line. She is BARELY on
the charts by height.

Just one personal story for you...
