When the infant has the ability to reach the junction of the hard and soft palate, he not only feeds properly, but he also stimulates his own normal hormone function. Remember that the hypothalamus/pituitary are located above the palate. Gentle stroking contributes to normal hormone release. This is another reason why normalizing structure normalizes whole body physiology. It is another reason why I think Brian Palmer's work is so important. We as adults who were artificially-fed and/or have untreated TTs are at risk for endocrine dysfunction from a? purely structural perspective, let alone the bio-chemical perspective. That is why I am so adamant about correcting TT and babies getting structural work. And why I refer moms for structural work for their own palates when they are experiencing hormonal dysregulation. 

So, even if this baby does not have a TT--he still needs CST.
