auctioning of professional health services offensive? <

Hey, as an american who has not lived in the US for almost 20 years, I find
this completely ridiculous. When people (taxi drivers, the woman on the
Clapham omnibus, etc) ask me why the heck I left California to come and live
in the wettest, dreariest part of England, I now say "The National Health
Service". Sadly the NHS is dying on its feet, but it still beats the
nonsenses of the capitalist health care service hands down. Once you have
the basic premise of the system the kind of thing you all have discovered on
ebay is just a natural extension.

I am still wondering why this whole discussion accepts pumps as an
uncontroversial part of breastfeeding. For some special medical situations,
sure, but it really is not so in the rest of the universe (though sadly
spreading).
