I don't know that I've ever posted to Lactnet, but
this made me wince and I just had to comment! When my
first child was a bit over 1, we received a box of
formula samples in the mail. I'm not sure why the
timing; while it corresponded exactly with a 6 week
growth spurt, it was exactly a year late. Anyway, I
wanted to find some way of using the formula, so I
tried some in my coffee. And promptly made another
cup, eliminating the formula. It really does NOT
taste good! (I wound up giving the formula to a
former coworker who had no interest in trying to nurse
her older baby.)
