The experience of my clients has been that this pump performs poorly. If it is the double pump version, the two sides on the little handle thing don't always fit mom's breasts correctly. The suction and cycling are poor. Also, I have had several WIC clients with premature babies start out on this (cheap and available at the store) and literally wear it out within two weeks. We loan out Elites to moms with premature babies and they all say the Elite is a ton better than the First Years. I even had one WIC client whose husband took it apart and taped up the motor or something to make it work better (didn't help).
