I, too, am hesitant about using Phenergan in vomiting infants.  I've never
been impressed that it does much good and there are those side effects that
Rob Cordes alluded to . . . I usually have the moms try to feed the baby as
soon as they stop with the dry heaves.  Breastmilk is definitely about the
best tolerated stuff that exists for a vomiting infant--just has to be given
in small frequent amounts until the stomach settles.
