Was watching the news tonight and a car company has donated a full size
van to the couple of the septuples. Also, a new home is being built for
them by someother company. Gifts keep pourting in. I was thinking that
if I lived in the area, I would donate my time as a LC. Are there any LC
in Iowa that can donate free consultations and get one of the pump
companies to donate a free pump? This would be good publicity. In the
Thursday's US Today, front page calculates that the infants are expected
to consume 11 gallons of formula a week.

On a bazarre note, my husband said that he was watching a late night
news show that interviewed a man who wrote a book titled "Underground
Education". My husband wasn't able to get the man's full name. He thinks
it was Richard Sax. Supposedly this man documents in his book that
during the 1800's women in the US prepared their breasts for
breastfeeding by training dogs to suck their nipples. Could their
possibly be any truth to this? Does anyone know? My husband, who is a
history buff, will be looking up this book.
