I have a mother that has had 8 babies, who has this issue. She takes evening primrose oil, fish oil, extra d and magnesium to help.  Significantly - almost all of her babies had latch issues with high palates and poor tongue movement.  Sadly, I've just (after 25 years in the field) obtained enough confidence to truly identify and separate tongue issues that need intervention and those that don't.  Here is what I think should be criteria:  if the nipple shape remains unchanged, the breast is drained well, the mother has no pain, the baby is growing and content, relaxed at the breast with good positioning and attachment technique.  Last baby, we fixed these things and guess what - the Raynaud's has been minimal!

Hello Lactneters!

Hoping for some ideas. I'm working with a mom with raynaud's of the nipple. Not a candidate for nifedipine because of low blood pressure. Warmth helps a little, but wanted to check if anyone had other ideas.
