I have been in this discussion list many years ago, maybe some of you
remember me or we even met in some LLL or WABA meeting when I was the WBW
International Coordinator for WABA.

Now I writing to ask for your support to the breastfeeding community group
in Brazil, which makes the Mariana Breastfeeding Dolls. I am not sure if it
would be allowed to write about it here, but since it is not simply an
advertisement, I am trying it.

During 15 years we had support from donors in Holand, Ireland and Sctland,
but now all donors are leaving the brazilian NGOs and we also lost their
support. So, the community group is, more than ever needing to sell the
dolls to assure their breastfeeding promotion work will not die. Selling the
dolls is also an income generating project.

I am living in Washington DC now (since I married another breastfeeding
advocate, Ted Greiner  :-)  and I am trying to help the women's group to
sell the dolls here in the country.

These dolls are very cute and have been symbol of the WABA WBW in 1999. If
